Tooley Futures

University choices, career exploration and thoughtful guidance about life after school. Unhurried conversations that help a student decide for themselves.

Why it helps

School careers advice is a start. It is rarely enough.

Most students choose subjects, courses and universities with very little sense of where they lead. The choices are made quickly, and often by default.

Tooley Futures gives them time and a steady second view. We talk about what they enjoy, what they are good at and what the options really look like, then make a plan they believe in.

The decision stays theirs. Our job is to make it a well-informed one.

What we work on

Three areas

I

University choices

Courses, universities and countries compared properly. Entry requirements, applications and personal statements planned well ahead of deadlines.

II

Career exploration

What different careers involve day to day, how people get into them, and which subjects and experiences help.

III

Life after school

Apprenticeships, gap years and alternatives to university, weighed up honestly alongside the usual routes.

Practicalities

How it runs

Conversations, online

One-to-one video sessions, paced to the student and the decisions in front of them.

Parents kept informed

A short written note after each session: what we discussed, what was decided and the next step.

When to start

Any time from 14. Earlier conversations make later choices calmer.

Fees

Agreed after the first conversation, once we know what would be most useful.

Start with a conversation.

Tell us a little about your child and what they are weighing up. Brendan replies within two working days.
