What is covered

Subjects and courses

Business and Economics at GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IB. Sessions follow your child's course and exam board, not a general syllabus.

Understanding first

Concepts are taught until they make sense, then practised until they stick.

Exam technique

How marks are actually awarded. Command words, structure, evaluation and timing, on real questions.

Written work

Essays and longer answers read closely, with clear, specific comments on what to change.

Steady progress

One plan, reviewed as we go, looking ahead to mocks and exams.

The weekly note

You will always know what happened.

After each week you receive a short note. What we covered, what went well and what comes next. If anything in it is unclear, reply and ask.

Example · Week 4

Price elasticity of demand

What we covered
The formula, what the number tells you, and why it matters to a firm setting prices.
What went well
The calculations were accurate and quick. The diagram was labelled correctly first time.
What comes next
Marks were lost for not defining the term first. Next week we practise opening every answer with a precise definition.
